Thanks for the update.

Nice cameo of the new Automag in the HBO series 'The Sympathizer'.

@phenry3 Just a question, but how did the pause in operations lead to a total loss of ERP systems and accompanying data? That doesn't seem to make much sense unless someone with access wiped it. Also, why is Automag investing time and resources into prototyping anything when the order backlog is admittedly as high (and seemingly stagnant) as it is? My brother in law has been waiting over a year for his gun and this wasn't exactly reassuring news...

I have to agree with the last post. There's a lot of loyal customers that have been patiently and anxiously waiting for their gun...many for years. The list really hasn't shrunk much over the past 6-8 months since production has started again. Hearing of the prototype...I too was a little taken back by that..What truly is the priority here? I was under the impression that by summer 2024 the list would be cleaned up, new orders could be taken  and business could move forward. But it seems far from that at this point. It seems many of us won't even see our gun this year at the pace things are going...according to the post/updates.

My son stopped by for a visit yesterday and showed me the second magazine he recently received from Rob as part of the program to make buyers whole with their missing magazines. It appears to be identical to the one that came with his gun, but it’s made of a darker-colored material.

Original and new magazines pictured below.

It’s good to see activity continuing at Auto Mag….

Hey guys, I’ve been out because of personal issues. I am trying to get back in the saddle and get with Patrick to get you an update as soon as possible.

I finally got my Auto Mag pistol and .44amp magazine blanks from my coworker who 3D printed them for me.

I sent them to Sam Andrews in Florida for him to make a Springbreak shoulder holster rig with two magazine pouches for me.  Sam makes fantastic holsters.  His website is:

He made the holsters for the latest Magnificant Seven movie a few years ago.

Very cool to have blanks made.

Funnily enough, it was that same Sam whose instructions on a Youtube video I followed to design a pattern (that actually worked!) for my own holster for my 6.5" Auto Mag (a very basic one but I'd literally never made anything in leather before and it was sewn painfully by hand). Sam will do you right, I'm sure of it.

I remember seeing this pic right after you finished this..

I absolutely love this holster!! You did an amazing job, especially it being the first time you did anything like this!

Oh thanks very much - more work than I expected and it's more functional than beautiful but it was satisfying to finish!
