Has anyone been experiencing a lack of communication with the AutoMag crew? Over the last month, I've been trying to get hold of Rob re: the status of my order. 2 emails, & numerous calls have gone completely unanswered.
While at the range today, I found a crack in one of my magazines. Has anybody else had this kind of problem.

@gwassenberg I got a message from Patrick two weeks ago. He gave me the latest scoop, and said he would ask Rob to share it with you here. Nothing earth-shattering in it, just grinding along in the process to separate from the hostile takeover crew….
Hopefully Rob or Patrick can give a more detailed response here soon?
Yes, I have had a magazine crack at the weld line in the back. So far it still functions. I mentioned this on the Automag Facebook page, and Rob saw it. He sent me a new magazine. Rob wanted the old magazine back for failure analysis. I feel I can repair it by TIG welding, or silver solder. I was hoping to buy it as scrap, and made the offer to Rob, planning to do the repair attempt myself. I was waiting for Rob to get back to me. No hurry Rob, I know you have a lot on your plate.
The new magazines are much nicer than the old ones are. This one inserts easily and drops free of it's own weight. The weld line in the back is different also. And as a bonus, this one will lock back the bolt after the last round, every time. The old magazines are slightly fatter, and I believe drag on the hold open catch, inhibiting it's rapid deployment while shooting. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. The old magazines will lock back, when manually manipulating the bolt, as the deployment process is much slower. I think this is something that Automag could look into.
Thank you kindly - I hope to improve! 🙂
@pantera-mike 11 days later and still nothing from leadership.....
15 days out from your reply to my post & not a word from anyone.
I called Rob again & left a message....nothing but crickets. 4 calls & 2 emails.....since June 1st 2024.....no replies. When I first contacted them last June (2023) they were very informative & polite. Now, ignoring calls & emails. How 'bout being up front with people? How long does it take to type out an update on this forum, just to keep customers informed? I'm sure I'm not the only one whose money they're sitting on while we wait for our pistols to be manufactured. I'm patient.....I'll wait for as long as it takes....but it would just be nice to get a little info from time to time.
Greg
order #100640R
Thanks for keeping after them, Greg. I'm sure that we all would like to hear something; especially those of us who paid in full. 😫
It has now been a month since anyone in a leadership/management capacity has weighed in on what is happening over at Automag. I can only assume that is because they are trying to come up with something to say, rather than reliably report a true status update. This is unacceptable and needs to be addressed immediately. If not for the unnaturally patient temperament of the buyers in this forum, this would be a huge issue. No update of guns shipped, no update on the health of the company, no update on the litigious situation with the investors/ "hostile group". What is the holdup Patrick and Rob?
For various personal reasons I'm offering my like new 6.5" barrel 180-D satin finish pistol for sale. Includes the Automag wooden display case, two magazines, Automag magazine loader, and other extras. Loading dies (RCBS), brass (Starline) and bullets (Hornady 240gr XTP #44200) available if you need them, I'll get quantities & price for who ever buys the pistol. Serial number CE 15X
Condition is excellent +, probably fired 75 rounds through it with good performance. ALL brass needs to be correctly trimmed as this gun has very tight headspace. Properly trimmed brass runs great. No scuffs, dings, dents, or other marks....would pass as NIB if I didn't admit to shooting it. Cost is directly off my Automag Invoice(s) $3615 + $75 S&H lower 48. Add 2.5% if you want to pay by CC, otherwise cash, cashiers check, gold, personal check (after it clears). Must ship to FFL. Photo's available if interested tom@bullcreekarms.com 208-660-5135 I'm going to hold off a couple weeks before listing on GunBroker.
@uhoser Sir can you please advise if you finally received your refund and if so, what did you do to finally get it issued. I have been in email conversations with Rob, and have sent Mr. Henry an email requesting my refund but to no avail. This has been going on about a month. Thank you for your response.
@robautomag Rob can you give me an update on my refund request? I sent Patrick an email almost two weeks ago and received no reply. Can you please advise me what I need to do to get my refund taken care of. My order number again is #10062 placed on 09/30/2021. Thank you.
