William and Andy, thank you both for posting on your new Auto Mags! Great videos and information!
I know in the not so distant future, a day will come that the sun will shine and the angels will sing. That day I will receive my very own Auto Mag! Until then I have everything that I need to start turning out some ammo for it.
Here's my second order of some 180's and 200's (they didn't have any 240's).
For some reason the image wouldn't upload in my last post. Only 3.49 MB jpg file
Some shiny goodness!
Thanks for the image help Andy!
Just curious, Has anyone received their Automag ?
I guess I should have said has anyone recently received their Automag.
I know FE-41 arrived at its FFL yesterday and was shot by its owner.
Congratulations
Andy is correct! Patrick & team shipped it on Monday and I was shooting on Wednesday. It was a long wait, but worth it.
FE41 is undoubtedly the most beautifully finished firearm I have laid my hands on.
Keep the faith!
We were finally able to get a brushed satin finish Auto Mag to our photographer.
That is some nice work! For general purposes, that would be the finish I would normally go with. But for such an iconic firearm, I had to go with the high polish, mirror finish.
Looks fantastic! I wish it didn’t have quotes around “Classic Edition” though. In the English language, using quotes like that means you are trying to express the opposite of what the words say, or more accurately, you are saying “not really”. For instance, Elizabeth Warren is a “gun-friendly” democrat. She is among the less-radical, less-hateful democrats, but she is most emphatically NOT actually gun-friendly.
So, as written on these guns, they are Not Really Classic Editions. Which is a shame, because if the label just said Classic Edition it would make a lot of sense.
It’s a minor quibble, I know. But I’m a semi-pro magazine editor so things like this make me nuts.....
@robautomag Now I know why Patrick said this satin version would be great for hunting!
