Oh, that sucks. I wish there was a way to see where we are on the list. I don't mind if mine is far into the future; I just wish I knew just HOW far. 😉
If anyone cares to purchase my 6.5” NIB Classic please notify me. Received the pistol last December and been in my safe since I picked it up
@john-d-owens. Delivery update or undate…. After receiving Patrick’s email about deliveries and FFL‘s I called last week and they did not have my FFL‘s record. I had my FFL resend his license and I followed up with Automag this week. I spoke to a very nice lady and I inquired about my pistol. when I told her I was CE98 she said it was ready to be picked up by FedEx. That afternoon. And then she realized the name on the box wasn’t mine. And then it came to surface 98 isn’t mine either. After years of waiting and months of being told I was SN 98 it appears I have not been assigned a SN and she could not tell me when I would be however did emphasized they were shipping in the order of purchase. Ironically when I bought my pistol I asked Patrick the back log and he told me in Aug of 19 there where about 35 CE’s ahead of me. She could not confirm they had my updated FFL either just that if it was sent to sales they would look it up as they get to my order because of an in rush of ffl’s after the last update.
I am truly disappointed.
To CE98 it’s on the way!
This does not leave me feeling warm and fuzzy...
Serial number: CE280
also have G10 grips, Mag loader, slide pull attachment and one extra bottle of oil and magazine
For the following:
6.5” High Polish pistol
One extra magazine
One magazine loader
One set of G-10 grips
One extra bottle of lubrication oil
If purchased from Automag with a undetermined ship date it would cost $4,170 plus shipping
I would sell everything for an even $4,000 plus shipping expense to your FFL
Also have 400 new brass cartridges, one set of RCBS four piece die set and a Hornady die set and 100 loaded cartridges with a 240 grain bullet if interested
Hey softsounds I have a friend that may be interested in your deal. What is the best way to get in touch with you?
Sad day. Dreamt of the Automag since I was a kid, reading dad's Gun Digests in the 1970s. Pumped these came back into production with improvements so I purchased in full in 2020.
Today the canadian government just put a freeze on all handgun transactions, including importation.
Pissed at myself that I passed up some older models thinking these were just around the corner - matter of months, not years. And not throwing shade at delays. Patrick and team have done great work, Rob has been great to deal with, and I'm the first to understand production challenges, compounded by the pandemic. Just a bad combination of circumstances, and the old adage - 'a bird in the hand...'. On a positive note, some folks will be one position ahead in the queue, waiting for the next batch of 8.5"ers, which I'm told are close.
Anyway guys, enjoy these. Looks like I'll be living vicariously through you. Wish i could send you guys all the Norma ammo I just accumulated but I can't even do that.
Hopefully the Canadian freeze is just a temporary knee-jerk reaction? Surely there must be some recourse through the court system?

I just read that this is merely a proposal at the moment, and even if approved it would take effect until the fall. Assuming that’s true hopefully the AM people will move you to the head of the line. I’m sure no American would object to stepping backwards one place to help a fellow enthusiast trapped in a totalitarian state with a potentially limited time before his freedoms are eroded forever?
I have no idea where I am at on the list, but you are more than welcome to my spot. I placed my order back in Nov 28, 2020.
If needed (?) you can reach me at my screen name @aol.com
Like Pantera Mike is getting at, I would hold tight and wait until the ink has dried on the new proposed B.S. law.
