Did any of you know that the same location Patrick Henry owns Southern Ammunition as well?  I might have read that at some point but there is more than 1 business operating there.  I also found more lawsuits of investor fraud in 2020 against Auto mag for fraud by a Mykos Productions as they were solicited to invest $1million dollars for manufacturing and they were not told that the 44 was not ready to be sold, however they were sold on the idea production was ready.... people read and search South Cariolina Courts on line..... don't take my word

Looks like I am beating this dead horse but if I would have researched this deep originally, I would not have ordered this at all!!!

Wonder why we don't hear anything?? You be the judge

@midauto

I am not someone that does social media but I was told about this lie and I wanted to address it my self.  Yes it is true that I own Southern Ammunition Company and have since 1974. I also am the largest shareholder in Auto Mag and was approached by Mycos about investing 1 mm in Auto Mag. They not only knew that status of production they tried to buy out other investors and take control of Auto Mag. When I found out what they were trying to do we bought them out and paid all their money back with interest. I am currently raising funds to build the new automated production line that will have the ability to generate initially 250 per month in the May/June time frame. We have almost 80% of what we needed to complete this. It doesn't help when lies are spread on the internet. We have shipped over 300 guns and even though this process creates another delay, it is the right thing to do. If you can't or won't wait the get a refund.

We did hire another company to help us with the front of the house management(phones, internet etc) they were a nightmare and it has taken weeks to try to get this all straighten out. Please be patient with us through this process.

If you would like to speak with my my personal cell number is 843-267-7405 text me first because my phone blocks unknown numbers.

So are guns shipping in February 2023 as stated in the December 14th email, or are they now delayed until May/June 2023?

Patrick, I absolutely am not trying to not insult you or take away all your hard work to this point, however what I have only put on this forum due to the fact there has been no response to calls or emails from your team for 3 or 4 months other than an email from a Michael Bush that you are moving.... lead me to start looking into actual court and business searches!!! I was not finding any of this info on social media for the record, all from the court files I found entirely.  You have to understand from the group of people making an order that the receiving party will be a responsible seller.  The fact that you allowed this to get to a point of boiling over with emotions are actually your fault and should not have taken some one like me to start digging into why we have no responses when asked, I don't mean just this forum either.

I apologize if you did not care for what I found or shared on here of my opinions, but look from our side when you call or email a business that you sent anywhere from $800 - $4000 does not respond after a few months should be expected to have a few angry people.  Sorry.

If what I did got you to finally respond then it was all for the better for the group and not just for me.  There are still questions others have I am sure and I hope that you find a way to address the group of orders you in hand so all can stand behind you rest assured.

I wish you well in finishing what you need to do and hope all can enjoy this wonderful piece of history!!

Just wondering, how many Loris guns were produced? I have to assume that the new guns will have to be marked differently, and yes I believe there will be new guns soon. So, if there are as many history buffs and collector's among us as I suspect, we'll all be curious about the production numbers. Hopefully Rob or Patrick will drop us a line, it's always good to hear from them.

Auto Mag is at Shot Show! Looks like the price has gone up a bit, but it is the D model. Look up "Most scanned new products day 2" , shows a high polished 8 1/2 , price at 4070. Definitely not looking like they are giving up!

To save everyone from having to go on the same Easter Egg hunt, here is the referenced link:

The bumf references the Auto Mag Model D, first time I’ve heard of this. There is a link to the Auto Mag website which hasn’t been updated since last year’s SHOT show and still shows the old models and prices. I wonder if the Model D will be the Conn-made model, no longer called the Classic Edition?

I thought that the the new 8 1/2 barreled Loris pistols were always called the "Model 180-D Classic Edition" but maybe I am remembering wrong. But I think (maybe) that I have heard them called the Model D (or that has been in the model name) previously(?)

The Loris AMP's have all been marked as Model 180-D.  Here are both a Raven, "Classic Edition" and a "Founders Edition".

Here is a photo of a "Classic Edition" barrel produced by Excel.  There is no Model designation on them.
