I have sent my Auto Mags in for repairs/minor adjustments to the South Carolina location after communication with Rob over the last few months. Auto Mag made the adjustments and returned my pistols quickly and they worked fine.
I have faith that Auto Mag will get all of this straightened out eventually and will get pistol orders filled. However like everyone here, I do wish that they would communicate better with their customers.
I don’t know why I know this, but my phone informed me that today is Rob’s birthday. Assuming that’s true, Happy Birthday Rob!
I just had a telephone conversation with Mike Bush today. He filled me in on what is going on at Automag corp. Much of what he told me was covered in the previous posts. The complaints of no responses to calls, and misinformation, were the fault of the Stryk company, who are no longer there. He is working hard to restore the goodwill of the customers. Automag assembly time was averaging 10 hrs per gun, as the investment cast frames were often out of spec, and judicious hand fitting was necessiary to complete. That's why the production numbers were so low. You can't turn much of a profit on that. That's part of the equation. All this is being worked on to correct at the new facility, with necessiary engineering changes for increased production, and fewer after sales issues. Expect production to return this summer. Existing frames marked Loris, SC, are intended be used, until supply is exhausted, then the new location will be stamped on the new frames.
Mike is available to talk to anyone here. I messaged him through Facebook, gave my number, and he called me. There is another Facebook, called Automag Facebook, that he is on frequently.
Mr Henry and crew are really trying to get this turned around. Be patient, there is light at the end of the tunnel.
So then, this website is no longer "The authoritative source" for AutoMag information?
We have to use FaceBook to find out anything about our substantial investment in a company that apparently does not want to communicate?

So the only way to communicate is to ping him on Facebook and then he calls you back? He doesn’t give out his phone number anywhere? What happens if somebody just tries calling the company number listed on the website? I would feel silly complaining if all you had to do was call the company number but my impression (I haven’t tried it because I don’t have a gun in order and don’t want to waste their time) is that this no longer works? Is that true, or not?
The other facebook is a private one, owned by an individual, that sometimes Mr Bush posts on.

Did you ask Bush why he doesn't post on this forum?
I bet that he is monitoring anyway.
Has anyone who asked for a refund gotten one yet?
I requested one on January 29th and have not received anything or been told when I will receive one.
When I place my order my card was charged immediately.
Thought I would let you guys know I spoke to Patrick Henry today regarding my order's current status, he mentioned to me the issues he has been having with a company he hired to man the phones (Stryk Group?) and front office when I mentioned I wouldn't get a call back through Auto Mags website ph# . He said he was aware of the concern over lack of communication on the Auto Mag website and stated he was bound right now under NDA's as the company is going through a restructuring with new partners. He assured me that he will be posting further information in the coming weeks. When I texted his cell # he phoned me back very quickly, I would suggest anyone with concerns should contact him directly through the number he posted earlies on this topic.
I'm Bruce Christie and I sent that message to Mr. Bush on the private Facebook page on behalf of you on here who don't use that social media. I don't really have a dog in this fight anymore as I received my Raven last spring after ordering it in November 2021. But I certainly sympathize with those of you waiting 2 and 3 years for your pistols which is just unacceptable in my opinion. I was considering ordering an 8" model too but now there is no way I would send the company any more money until they get substantially back on track with seriously honest and up front communication. Even though they appear to be giving refunds when requested, you know most likely they are using your up front funds to keep operating on which is sketchy business model right from the start.
Hey Guys,
Per the executive board I have been brought back on board at Auto Mag. Right now, we are in the process of finalizing a plan. So please give me few days (hopefully by Friday) and I will give you an update.

That sounds like a very, very wise decision to me! I think I can safely speak for all of us when I say we welcome this news and look forward to the resumption of straightforward, honest and regular communication from you regarding the company and all facets of the operation….
