Hey Guys,

Per the executive board I have been brought back on board at Auto Mag. Right now, we are in the process of finalizing a plan. So please give me few days (hopefully by Friday) and I will give you an update.

Welcome back, Rob 🙂

Coincidentally, my Facebook account reminded me that it was 2 years ago today that I collected my Founders' Ed from my FFL.

Hello,

We are writing to inform you about an exciting new development at our company. In the coming weeks, we will be launching a new communications process and campaign to better serve you and enhance your experience with us.

We want to take this opportunity to address some concerns that you may have had recently regarding our business. We want to assure you that we are not, nor have gone out of business. In fact, we are committed to improving our firearms and manufacturing processes and providing you with the best possible experience... more on that a little later on.

We understand that there have been inconsistencies in our brand messaging, and that we have not always lived up to your expectations. For this, we apologize. We take full responsibility for these shortcomings and have been working hard to address these issues.

Our new communications efforts and campaign reflect our commitment to providing you with transparent, consistent, and reliable communication. We believe that this new approach will help us to better serve your needs and improve your experience with our company.

Our new communications process will include regular newsletters, email updates, social media posts, and videos. These channels will be designed to keep you informed about our latest product developments, manufacturing updates, as well as any important news or announcements that may affect your experience with us and your order. Order updates will be forthcoming, as will an explanation of what is happening with the company.

We hope that you will continue to place your trust in us and allow us to continue serving you. We understand that we have some work to do to regain your confidence, but we are committed to doing so through our actions and the implementation of our new communications process and campaign.

Thank you for your continued loyalty and support. We look forward to keeping in touch with you through our new communications process and campaign.

Sincerely,

Auto Mag Ltd.

Hey Guys,

A lot of things have been going on in the last few days. The board has reconsidered their decision to close production in Loris and have decided to reopen the facility. I should have access to the Auto Mag phone number next week (hopefully Monday) and I will start going through the backlog of calls and emails. I should know more details next week and will be updating you all as quickly as I can.

P.S. @packhawk In the process, I will try and figure out why some people get our emails and others don’t.

@robautomag Good to see you back Rob.  I tried calling you again this afternoon and got the same phone tree message that I have been getting for the last 2 months and I was getting concerned.  It is the end of the month and the last official email I received from the company stated all orders would be filled by now.   I have looked on here a few times in the past few months but have been very disappointed in the lack of official communication.  After seeing what happened in the 70's, I was beginning to wonder if the Auto Mag curse has reared its ugly head up yet again.  I do know that there have been guns produced as I got my Raven last summer and even had to send it back in for adjustment.  What I have not seen is if anyone has received any guns yet this year.  Hopefully you will be able to update us all on what has been happening and it would be nice to see what the current waiting list looks like.  My last known position was 180 I believe and I was just wondering how that is progressing.

Cheery news indeed 🙂

As a slight aside, I noticed this on my grip last time I went to shoot.

I broke a set of those grips from Grips4U because I failed to pay attention to the admonition to file and clearance the inside of the grip to ensure it wasn’t hard up against anything. Mine broke in exactly in the same place. Next time I filed a bit more and no problems since. I also installed rubber O-rings around the grip screws to help secure the grips and isolate them from the shock and vibration of recoil….

@andyc

That happened the same way on my Raven.  Auto Mag is replacing them for me.
