@jfleisher no. From what understand as soon as we get the website fixed we will post it up again. I am trying to push to get it done as quickly as possible.
Thank you!!!
So for those of us who are not in the queue, but waiting for the possibility of placing an order at some point, are there any other options for handguns that I can feed some of this .44 amp ammo to? I don't see any other than this group for purchasing a semi auto .44 AMP pistol. AM I missing anything that could be available in another platform??? The wait for a new automag appears to be endless.

Well, there are thousands of original 44 Auto Mags floating around and it’s quite easy to buy one of those. Just go on Gunbroker, etc and have at it.
Another option would be a Wildey Survivor, but those are even less attainable than a new-production Auto Mag. They are a great example of vaporware, and besides, Wildey pistols basically suck IMHO.
haven’t seen anything else that fires the .44amp.
it is slightly amusing that we are having conversations about waiting long periods of time for Auto Mags. It wasn’t until Mr. Henry came along that there would even be a remote possibility that getting an Auto Mag would be possible again. Let alone one that functioned reliably. I waited hopefully since like 1984 to get one and never thought I would get one.
They are well worth waiting for. I finally got mine last October and it is truly a thing of beauty and lots of fun to shoot.
I just spoke with Rob. I am #15 on the wait list. My gun will be in the first batch of completed guns, late July or August. Ordered in 2020.
Hmm… I was #10 or 11 on the wait list when they took it down. Ordered March 2021…
@jfleisher from what I am seeing on the list I have is you are 31. We have made it a point not to move anyone ahead of anyone else under less there was an extreme reason. The only one we have done, that I am aware of, has been a customer that has had brain cancer and just wanted to hold it before he passed. I will look into this and contact you directly
Thank you Rob. I could be remembering it wrong, I’m getting up there in years, lol.
If guns are being built and shipped I am happy to wait my turn.
Thank you, Rob, also. Glad to get an update, on my place on the wait list. Kind of frustrated for some time, not hearing of any real progress. I feel much better now. I hope to have my Automag within the next six weeks.
This forum supports PDF attachments. Here, I will attach the original 1970s sales brochure as an example.
Assuming it’s a success, Rob could easily post a PDF of the waiting list here, rather than waiting for an entire new website to be built?
I greatly appreciate the sentiment of advancing somebody on the list whose days are so severely numbered. Hopefully he was able to get a bit of joy in his life that day….

There was a small run of Wildeys in 44 apparently. Some LAR Grizzly conversions kits in 44 AMP are out there - one sold on GB a few months ago. I have also seen a custom Ruger 44 carbine. All of those are far rarer than the original Automags though.
Fingers crossed that production on these starts up again soon
@pantera-mike neat brochure. Reminds me of the series of articles in GunDigests from the 70s. That is when my interest was piqued.
@radarluv55 Don't know anything about this operation, but https://www.usafirearmscorp.com/ is home of the Wildey and they are claiming to be making that gun in .44 AMP. Their listed phone number works and will take voicemails, for what it's worth. Good luck! (Personally, I'm waiting for Patrick's AutoMag)
