Funny how we all seem to be on the same page. I ran across that deal yesterday morning and couldn't pass it up and it shipped today. New loads for 88 cents a round is a pretty good deal any way you look at it. Mike's coupon code would have been icing on the cake! I have been waiting for months for the order lines to open back up so I can get in line and ran across a relatively new Loris Auto Mag from an individual and snapped that thing up last week. 8 1/2 inch barrel with the satin finish. He stated he only ran a half box of ammo through it and wanted to raise cash for his new passion which is long range shooting. Anyway, it's here and looks brand new so the additional ammo was great timing. The only snag is the hold open latch is not working as it should with the empty magazine in place it won't lock open. Damnit boy! Anyone else heard of the Loris guns having that issue?
Just ordered 450 rounds here as well. Order went through without issue.
As we’ve seen with the new guns, it’s one thing to successfully place an order and something entirely different to actually receive product. I hope SBR actually can deliver right away.
It wouldn’t surprise me if Starline required some X minimum order before they would produce a run of Auto Mag brass, so SBR might have had this sale to generate a flurry of ammo sales which they can then use to justify Starline making a brass run, which in turn would then allow SBR to fill all the orders they placed? Truthfully I wouldn’t mind if that was the case, which would mean waiting several weeks or months for order fulfillment.
But the infant in me is hoping for instant gratification. 😁
Mine is showing as shipping today as well. Hooray!
Hopefully all those people who are waiting for Starline to honor their brass orders will be fulfilled by them soon now they apparently it is available again?
Let me ask them….
Emailed back and forth with a nice lady at Starline. She didn’t know when brass might next be produced for retail purchase, and doesn’t know of SBR getting any shipments from them recently, so perhaps SBR had existing brass inventory?
In any case, the forecast for simple brass purchases is still completely unknown. Buying loaded ammo, on the other hand, seems to be working and seems like an effective method to acquire the needed brass for the future.
So the issue with the hold open lever not functioning turned out to be a simple fix. The black Hogue grip on the left side was making contact with the mechanism and preventing it from pivoting properly. You could see some contact on the inside of the grips so I brought out the dremmel with a drum sander and removed a small amount of material from the inside of the grip which solved the problem. Just wanted to share in case anyone had a similar situation down the road.

That’s great news. These guns are unusual in that some of the gubbins lie outside the confines of the frame, and ill-fitting grips can wreak all sorts of havoc (or the grips can break under the stress which happened to me with my original AM fitted with aftermarket wood grips). So it pays to evaluate and make sure there is sufficient clearance.
Hello Group: Can someone offer some insight as to the status of the company? I've emailed a couple of times with no response, and interested in the Raven version, seeing that the special run has been extended. But upon further reading and digging thru the forum threads, have read of some customers having issues with the firearms, of the slides being tight and jamming. So, have "bugs" been worked out, is this a worthwhile firearm investment? Is it worth it? It's an awesome looking piece, quite expensive, but I understand that given what is involved. Just looking for honest feed back. Thank you all for your time
Yes they fit just fine and no issues when I charged them a few times.
Ive never had any issues on quick shipping from SBR. Usually took a couple of weeks to get my orders. I wonder how long it is going to take me to get through these 5k plus rounds. It will be a lot of fun!
I love my Raven. I did have an issue with it jamming and extracting the spent brass and sent it back to Auto Mag and they fixed it in a couple of days and sent it right back to me. Shoots great now.
Now I’m just waiting for them to get a Auto Mag black ready so I can get a shoulder rig made for it by Sam Sndrews.

Mine just arrived today! 👍
Rob, Any word on when production will resume?
I got my SBR shipment today as well. Sat on the front porch all day, clearly labelled "SBR Ammunition". No porch pirates saw it I guess.
@gbertolet I wondered about that too, has anyone gotten a gun since they started cranking back up in SC? Rob, I think I might want another upper for an idea I have been kicking around for a while. Kinda some old school stuff, .44 or .357 maybe, what do you think?

I talked to Rob last week about the status of production as I bought my 180D a year ago last July. I wanted to know realistically how much longer it was going to take for my order to be filled, and asked if it was going to take another year? He told me they are ramping up production and not to hold him to it, but I should take delivery by Christmas of this year. I hope this comes out to be somewhat accurate.
