They are made with the new frames, not the existing frames.

Andy, I am happy for you. I wish I knew where I was on the list? Out of curiosity, I would also like to know, if it is not a business secret, how many pending orders for the Automags, are on the list, so you could get a better idea of where your position is, relatively.

I just spoke with Patrick an Rob both, after Rob said he would call. Rob stated that my Classic would be “CL-015”, and now stated today that he was having trouble with my order. Patrick stated that they are producing Classics at 2 per day, and shipped 2 more today. So, in speaking with Patrick I said so it is possible then that my order might ship by the end of next week? Patrick said, no, since they have started to produce the remaining “Founders Edition” using the new frames, it may be longer. So neither Patrick or Rob would answer when my order might be fulfilled.
Still waiting patiently. Maybe Rob will call back with more accurate information, or when their inventory management system is working.
Looking forward to this, but a “Classic”, pre-purchased in March of 2018.
I appreciated the follow-up call today from Rob. My number has now changed from Classic 15, to Classic 55. Rob stated that Patrick had given away the earlier numbers to Founders. The good news is my Dealer is still in business, and Rob confirmed their FFL again since they renewed their license. So, maybe this is a good sign that my order is finally in work. I appreciate the work that goes into bringing life back into a Classic firearm. It is a journey, and Rob said I will be very pleased with the handgun when it arrives. Looking forward to a successful outcome, and looking forward to additional calibers.
