New to the forum, and interested to see the Auto Mag back in production. Unfortunately, I don’t have the time, space or equipment to make handloads, so 44AMP is a wildcat with just that one, small manufacturer offering (on occasion) factory ammo.
Thus, was curious if there’s any plans to offer this in something with a bit more factory ammo availability, like 45 Win Mag or 50 AE? The Wildey Survivor is now available in 44AMP, but seems like folks who’ve placed orders years ago - in any caliber - are having problems with having orders filled - perhaps a competitive opportunity for Auto Mag to “return the favor” and pursue part of their market with a 45 Win Mag option?
@JacobR. You are correct about the survivor I am one of those having delivery issues and would not recommend any one going that route. One note all 44 AMP is not created equally. The 44 AMP cartridge specified for the USAFA barrel is primarily the same however has a shorter OAL. Just my .02 for SA. I will let Rob speak to the AM. Good luck and stay shooting!
