In the ever-evolving world of Path of Exile 2, where builds rise and fall with each balance pass and meta shift, it’s rare to see a setup so problematic that top-tier players won’t even go near it. But that’s exactly what’s happening with one particular build that’s currently making headlines in the community—for all the wrong reasons.

According to popular streamer and build specialist Jungroan, this bugged build is not only broken in function, but also completely unplayable in its current state. And when a player known for testing off-meta and risky builds refuses to POE2 Currency even try it, you know something’s seriously wrong.

The Build in Question

The build centers around a channeling skill combined with specific ascendancy interactions and a set of unique items designed to trigger automated effects. On paper, it has all the ingredients of a powerful, high-synergy endgame setup—consistent uptime, defensive layers, and powerful scaling. But in practice? It’s chaos.

Players attempting the build report:

Skill bugs that cause abilities to fail mid-combat or simply not trigger as intended.

Visual desyncs that make enemies appear in the wrong location, leading to unavoidable deaths.

Cooldown and mana cost bugs where abilities either over-consume resources or get stuck on cooldown despite not being used.

The experience has been so inconsistent that it’s become difficult to determine whether the build has actual potential or is simply broken beyond repair for the time being.

Jungroan’s Response: “Not Worth It”

Jungroan, a respected figure in the Path of Exile community for his deep mechanical knowledge and willingness to test unconventional builds, has outright refused to showcase this one on stream. In a recent post, he said:

“I love testing meme builds, but this one is just not functional. You spend more time fighting bugs than monsters. Until GGG fixes it, it’s not worth anyone’s time.”

Coming from someone who regularly plays jank setups just to push them to their limit, that’s a clear red flag.

Community Reaction

The response from the community has been a mix of frustration and memes. Many players were excited about the build’s potential after early patch notes hinted at strong synergy between certain keystone passives and unique gear. But as reports of bugs mounted, hope quickly turned into disappointment.

On Reddit and Discord, users have dubbed it the “Ghost Build” because it seems to disappear from viability as soon as you start playing it. Others have turned to bug reporting and videos showcasing the issues in hopes that Grinding Gear Games (GGG) will prioritize a fix.

Final Thoughts

Path of Exile 2 is still in an active state of development, and bugs are an inevitable part of any major update. But when a build becomes so dysfunctional that even seasoned players won’t go near it, it’s clear a fix is urgently needed.

Until then, it’s best to steer clear of this particular setup—no matter how tempting it looks on paper. As always, keep an eye on patch notes, listen to Path of Exile 2 Orbs for sale community feedback, and maybe hold off until this build gets the attention it needs.
