The 30 caliber AMP seemed to generate some interest so here are a couple more.

This is one of two L.E. Jurras Custom Cougers chambered in 30 LMP.  It is an absolutely beautiful pistol featuring a 12 1/2" polished barrel, jeweled bolt, gold plated trigger and hammer, bone micarta grips, Leupold Scope, and a Herringshaw 6 screw mount, the best made.

Here is another 30 LMP barrel.  This is Lomont's prototype barrel for the 30 LMP line.  It is 12" in length and features a Weaver Rail and a standard brushed stainless finish.  He put an image of a couger on these barrels  which probably caused Jurras to use that name.

I tried scanning these pages from Bert Mason's book documenting this pistol and barrel, but I could not get the scans to post.  I just took these photo's of the pages.

@bob-cohee this is exactly the taper I was referring to. I like it. Very clean.

To be honest, I would question if that Jurras Couger would actually cycle with all that barrel, scope, and mount.  It is unfired.

Lomont and Jurras got the 30 LMP working but it took no bullets less that 130 grains and 150 grains was more reliable.

Oh, myyyyyyy.... 😎 😍  That has to be a little rocket of a pill

You would probably like this one then.

A Lomont Custom Barrel chambered in 41JMP on a Pasadena frame with a 6 screw Herringshaw Max-Mount.  The barrel is an 8 1/2" semi bull and pollished.

@bob-cohee Wow! That is a nice firearm. I like the caliber as well… and how about the jeweling on those magazines! The case also makes everything pop!

Those magazines actually belong to this Jurras Custom 357.  It is the only AMP that I have ever seen with a 6  1/2" VR barrel, scope, and iron sights.  The customer special ordered it that way.  The barrel is polished, the hammer, trigger, bolt, and two magazines are completely jeweled.  I had the case made.

@bob-cohee Nicely executed pistol and case combo. I am looking forward to additional calibers and barrels. A special request was made for the opportunity for a barrel. I hope they have not forgotten.

Things are quiet around here so I thought I would post another photo of a somewhat rare AMP.

The is a 16" octagonal Lomont Custom barrel chambered in 44 AMP.  I am told this is one of two that Lomont produced.  It features a Leupold Scope mounted in an 8 screw Herringshaw Maxi-Mount.  The frame is a polished Pasadena with white linen micarta grips.

I have also posted a photo of Kent Lomont holding this barrel at the Knob Creek Machine Gun Shoot.  The barrel is the same as this one but I added the frame later.
