Just in case you have not seen a complete set of AutoMag barrels...paperwork has Clint Eastwoods signature.
Is that one of the "LAST SETS"?
I own the "LAST-19" set. The LAST SETS were that end of the Auto Mag production run. The last pistol was "LAST ONE". The set was one frame, one 8 1/2" barrel chambered for 44 AMP, and 4 each 10 1/2" barrels chambered for 357 AMP, 41 AMP, 44 AMP, and 45 Win Mag.
The barrels were all numbered on the lug to the set. These were solid bolt guns.
Here are some photos.
@bob-cohee This set is the LAST 30 purchased 11/15/1982 by Malpaso Productions Burbank, CA and "Rec'd By" Clint Eastwood.

Thanks!
Here is a link to some photos from Larry Grossman who was a Gunsmith for Auto Mag and has worked on them virtually all his working life.
Larry made the AMP that Eastwood used in Sudden Impact and also the one that was presented to Clint.

@bob-cohee Just catching up with this now......
Bob: That is an extraordinary work of art right there!! Really appreciate you sharing this with the rest of us out here!
Here is an interesting one of a kind Auto Mag crafted by Lee Jurras for himself. Sorry for the crappy photos but I do not have anywhere in my house with good light and there is snow outside.
This is Lee's Metallic Silhouette AMP chambered in 41 JMP. It features a VR 8" Bull Barrel, jeweled trigger, hammer, bolt, and partial on the magazine. The finish is brushed stainless and it is magnaported. The serial number is JURRAS. It also has interchangable front sight posts similar to what are being used on the new AMP's.
I also included a page on the pistol from Mason's book.
Good day at the range today, although I had to put the pin back in the rear sight, and the front sight is loose again. Other than that, flawless performance.

Where is the photo? 😀
Missing photo from today 🙂
Found the Guns and Ammo edition that introduced me to the Auto Mag when I was 15. I have wanted one ever since then.
Found a picture of the Guns and Ammo edition that introduced me to the Auto Mag when I was 15. I have wanted one ever since then, 48 years ago. Really excited about actually getting one of these beauties. And thanks to my wife, I’m getting two of them now. 8.5 inch high polish Classic Edition and a Raven. She ordered the Raven for my birthday.
Just Got my new "Classic Edition" Auto Mag today. It's a 6.5" with matte finish and wood grips.
Cant wait to shoot it. Shown with a picture of my original Pasadena gun.
