Hi, I've already spoken to Rob briefly about this, (not sure if he remembers though).
While I understand you've only just got the guns to a point where you can mass-produce and ship them, I would like to ask if/when you would consider making a model that fires the rimmed, 44 Remington Magnum cartridges?
I'm asking because I live in Australia, and importing the factory ammo will mean a per-bullet cost of around $AU4, which is prohibitively expensive. I'm not really keen on the idea of reloading either I'm afraid.
Of course I realise that you'll want to concentrate on filling all the outstanding orders first and I appreciate there is a significant development effort involved with designing and making a new bolt, extractor, magazine, etc. but I think it would certainly make the Automag more accessible and affordable in the long run if it could fire the regular 44 rounds.
Anyway, it's just a suggestion, and like I said, I don't anticipate such a gun would be available for at least a year, but I'm certainly willing to wait.
Thanks.
i can't get ahold of anyone to tell me where i am on the list since i prepaid almost 2years ago
Will there be other pistol grips offered?
Hogue Checkered Wooden, G-10 and Rubber wrap-around:
I have the G-10 set and they're rock-solid - I just Rit-dyed them black.
The Automag logo would look great on a spare tire cover like on the back of a Jeep, wink wink nod nod...
@packhawk we are looking into getting more rubber grips, but we need to change them. I will let you guys know, once I know something.
Thanks @robautomag - Very interested in getting a set of these rubber wrap around grips. I have similar on other large caliber handguns and they make extended shooting sessions much more comfortable.

Rob-
I’m also interested in Hogue rubber wrap around grips or whatever you end up with.
I was also wondering if different front sight blades (red insert?) will be available down the road.
Thanks for everything you guys are doing to bring this fantastic piece of firearm art back to life and better than before.

Yeah, this is a good idea. Make it happen, guys!
Patrick-
i know you, Rob and the team are all swamped getting caught up on orders, but something to keep in the back of your mind, I have only found 1 holster maker that offers anything for Auto Mags. Hopefully you are creating more demand with each gun shipped. Maybe you can get in on that side of the business, when time permits.
It would be great to have a front sight threaded holding pin that will accept at least one sized larger Allen wrench size, such as 1/16 or 5/64.
My front sight is rattling after the initial 25 shots. The .050 wrench is way too small to adjust… tighten or loosen.
