Merry Christmas Everyone!
cannot wait to get my new Automag.  Wanted one since I saw one in 1979.  Couldn’t afford it back then.  As my wife and family and friends will testify, getting an Automag has been something I’ve talked about almost every Christmas and Birthday since then.  And when I found out that Mr. Henery started Automag back up with redesigns and improvements I’ve been really excited about finally getting one.  Used ones have pretty much been impossible to find online.

New member. Just learned of the reintroduction. Had one in the 1980's, a TDE 6.5" barrel. It was a jamamatic, as a new home owner, finances were tough then, and met someone who wanted it more than I did, and I let it go. I sort of wished I had been able to keep it. Now looking to buy another one. I am in the process of finding out some purchasing details, along with some questions.

I just jumped into the pool. I have 2 to 3 months, to find dies and cases. Starline is backordered, and Hornady is the only one I see that still makes dies. If possible, I would like to know what my number is on the wait list. Just curious. I see others were advised of their place.

G, I had to send my Hornady sizing die (and a few cases as examples) back to them as it was way too tight - but they fixed it fast and free.

I received my FE yesterday at my Ft Lewis FFL. But being in the great state of Washington I have to wait 10 days to pick it up?

The promise of the initial 90 day delivery date of my classic model is rapidly nearing. I didn't really believe that timeframe anyway, as it was likely overly optimistic. I had contacted Mr Richardson twice already, and cannot get a approximate delivery date, or my position on the list from him. All I am seeing is, a dribbling of Founders Editions being shipped. I do understand that the Founders Editions should get priority. How many of those were there? How many have been fulfilled? How many left to do? When do the Classics start production? Lots of unanswered questions.

Could be that many of the purchasers are not forum posters, and have received their Automags already, and just not posted this fact, for various reasons, that they did.

@gbertolet If you purchased your Auto Mag 90 days ago it might be a while. There are those like myself who ordered 3+ years ago - paid in full, and are still waiting for their order to be filled. The good news is that they have production going now after incorporating improvements which we are all glad they did. But improvement is needed in tracking orders through the system. The Pandemic certainly did not help anyone including the AutoMag Team. Rob is trying hard to satisfy everyone and has been responsive. It is true that the sales advertising needs to be more accurate. They still cannot tell me when my order will ship after I called them yesterday. At least my FFL dealer is still in business. What is interesting is that where I live the taxes on gun transfers has gone up, and the Democrats have voted in more taxes for firearm purchases and now added longer waiting times for picking up the handgun for extended background checks. So... it is costing me more and more everyday. It is a good thing I bought brass and reloading supplies 3 years ago during the Republican era... Very hard to find any components or factory loaded ammunition that is not associated with heavy scalping on sites like Gunbroker. Now I have the ammo I loaded myself, with helpful load information on the forum... but still waiting for the handgun. Still hopeful. Hang in there... based on the testing, photos and early sharing by forum members, it looks like we will be delighted. Production will increase.

Spoke to Rob today. Will order my Automag soon. Still hesitant because I got burned by the USAArms who are making the Widley survivor again. Sent my money a year ago and can’t get an email or call returned. Do I have reason for concern.
