In looking through the copy of the manual on your website you recommend two products and instruct the user on where to use them on their pistols.

#1 -  zMax -  Could you please post a picture of the exact product to purchase?

#2 -  Firepower Oil -  Again, would you post a picture of what product you are specifying as there are several.

Thanks

Hey Bob,

The PDF of the manual that was put on the website was an old draft when we were deciding what oil to use. The correct PDF has now been uploaded. In the end, we decided to use our own oil called Auto Mag oil. When you receive your Founder's you will get a bottle as well as a physical copy of the correct manual. We will start selling bottles of Auto Mag oil in our store soon.

Have a great Saturday,

Rob

Thanks for the quick response Rob.  I thought that the lube references were a little vague but the rest of the manual seemed fine.  I was just really in there looking for the recommended lube products to make sure I have them on hand.

@bob-cohee no problem. I am trying to learn how to use the forum and update you guys more often. Case and point, I have tried to share a picture with you of the new bottles, but I cant get it to upload. I will figure out what file type the forum likes and will upload the picture soon.

FP10 has been the most popular oil on the original Auto Mags. I've used it many years on my stainless guns.

It improved the functioning of my old Auto Mag greatly.

I will be using the recommended lube on my new Classic Edition though, just because.

Any thoughts on this?

I use WeaponShield, which is George Fennel's successor to his original FP-10.

@andyc where do you purchase yours at Andy? Online say at Brownells or where? Thanks

Weaponshield is on Amazon, 4oz for $20 and 16oz for $30.  FP10 is available there too (which is what I use, only because that’s what Auto Mag recommended back in the day), for about half the cost, $9-11 for 4 oz.

Yes, what Mike said - Amazon. I have both the oil and the grease.
